Whether you are a beginner or advanced knitter, you are invited to join us for a monthly knitting circle (crocheters too). Instruction will be available to get you started (but this is not a one on one lesson). "Knit One, Drop In" is knitting with a purpose. To begin, the projects will be simple baby hats and scarves. Your finished projects can be donated to Save the Children, Covenant House, or our U.S. Troops. So cast on and join us. “Knit One, Drop In” is free. All you need to do is bring your size 8 knitting needles. The yarn to get you started will be provided.
The group's goal is to support adult writers at all levels who are committed to their work. The collective will allow writers to share their stories and receive constructive feedback. All writers working in fiction and creative non-fiction are welcome. You do not need to be published to join. To encourage the writing process, we recommend that members attend regularly and come prepared with copies of their work to share.
A free peer volunteer support group for people who are actively looking for work and would like to re-invigorate their job search.
