Two great book clubs to join to fit your schedule and open to all adults.  These groups let you meet and discuss books with other people who like to read.  It gives you the opportunity to examine character development, structure, language, themes, and many more aspects of the books you read.  If you have two free hours, you are invited to join us!

Morning Book Discussion Group meets the 2rd Monday of each month at 10:30am

Evening Book Discussion Group  meets the 4th Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm

“Knit One, Drop in” Knitting Circle

Whether you are a beginner or advanced knitter, you are invited to join us for a monthly knitting circle (crocheters too). Instruction will be available to get you started (but this is not a one on one lesson). "Knit One, Drop In" is knitting with a purpose. To begin, the projects will be simple baby hats and scarves. Your finished projects can be donated to Save the Children, Covenant House, or our U.S. Troops. So cast on and join us. “Knit One, Drop In” is free. All you need to do is bring your size 8 knitting needles. The yarn to get you started will be provided.

Mahwah Library Writer’s Collective

The group's goal is to support adult writers at all levels who are committed to their work. The collective will allow writers to share their stories and receive constructive feedback. All writers working in fiction and creative non-fiction are welcome. You do not need to be published to join. To encourage the writing process, we recommend that members attend regularly and come prepared with copies of their work to share.

“Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Career Transition Support and Networking Group

A free peer volunteer support group for people who are actively looking for work and would like to re-invigorate their job search. Group members will assist each other in techniques and suggestions to improve job search, offer support, and help with personal and professional networking to find a position. No registration is necessary.  To learn more about the group, visit their site
