Looking for an item that is not owned by one of the 74 BCCLS libraries? Try JerseyCat! JerseyCat allows Mahwah residents with valid library cards to search public and academic libraries throughout New Jersey and request that items you want for pickup in the Mahwah Public Library.
Please remember to search the BCCLC Catalog before placing a request through JerseyCat and note that some items may not be available for inter-library loan through JerseyCat. Most items that are less than six months old cannot be borrowed, and most textbooks are owned only by the schools and universities using them in their curriculum, which means they likely are not available for lending.
Quick Guide to Using the System
When the database has completed its search it will produce a list of results.
The system should provide you with a confirmation. Print the confirmation for your records. You can track your requests through the JerseyCat link. Click on the "My Account" tab near the top left of the screen to log in.
When we receive your request, it will be reviewed by a librarian who may contact you for additional information about your request or if there is a problem with your account.
