Meals for Passover are restricted to specific ingredients. Passover commemorates the Exodus of the Jews from bondage in Egypt and because of their hasty retreat there was no time for bread to rise. Consequently, unleavened bread or matzo is the prominent ingredient of the foods eaten during this holiday. Many creative recipes have been developed using only permitted foods. Marvin Goldsmith will be making dishes with a Hawaiian flavor.   This program is free. Attendance is limited to 20. Registration is required beginning March 10th(either online on the website or with the Reference Desk).
