Teens & tweens can participate in this fun, weekly arts and crafts program while supplies last.  Participants can pickup a “bundle” of materials to use for various small, creative projects, and finish their project at home!  New projects will be available for pickup in the Teen Section, and by the back parking lot door, every Tuesday starting @ 12:30pm.No registration necessary.

ZUMBA® for Tweens (ZOOM)

Our Zumba for “tweens” class is a fun way to get fit! The Mahwah Library Writers’ Collective meets weekly with the goal to support adult writers at all levels who are committed to their work. The collective will allow writers of fiction and creative non-fiction to share their stories and receive constructive feedback and you do not need to be published to join. To encourage the writing process, we recommend that members attend regularly and have material ready to share every 4 to 6 weeks. Learn how to create a compelling and professional elevator pitch that you can use to introduce yourself on LinkedIn, in your resume and at virtual networking events. Debra J. Stark, MA, has been in the role of Career Advisor at Ramapo College of New Jersey for 15+ years serving both students and alumni. This is a Zoom event so register online (Don’t forget to give us your email address). Registration will close 24 hours before the event and we’ll send you the Zoom meeting number, password, and URL meeting link at that time.

Creatively Yours Grab & Go Craft for Adults: Inspirational Sign (PICKUP)
Mahwah Public Library

Sorin Lungu from Creatively Yours has a special craft for these difficult days. An inspirational message of “Believe” that you can paint and then have fired.

The kit will have all the necessary project materials and instructions. This project DOES need to be “fired” and MUST be returned by April 23th to be “fired”. “Firing” will take 2 weeks so call Monday May 10th to see if your project is back at the library and ready to be picked up.

This craft is for adults only. Registration is required. Registration starts March 1st on the Mahwah Library website or by calling 201-529-7323 extension 226. Craft can be picked up at the library April 14th until April 19th. If the craft is not picked up by then the kit will be given to someone on the waiting list.
