Sorin Lungu from Creatively Yours has a special craft for these difficult days. An inspirational message of “Believe” that you can paint and then have fired.

The kit will have all the necessary project materials and instructions. This project DOES need to be “fired” and MUST be returned by April 23th to be “fired”. “Firing” will take 2 weeks so call Monday May 10th to see if your project is back at the library and ready to be picked up.

In 1524, explorer Giovanni da Verrazano described the cliffs along the west bank of the Hudson River as “a fence of stakes,” or “Palisades.” Join Kevin Woyce for a colorful tour of one of New Jersey’s most impressive landmarks, from its formation and discovery to the American Revolution and the creation of Palisades Interstate Park. Explore history along the park’s major trails, from abandoned riverfront beaches and ferry landings to a vanished cliff top world of mansions and grand hotels. We’ll also visit Fort Lee, when it was the home of the silent movie industry, and Palisades Amusement Park.

The Mediterranean Diet is a healthy way to cook at home. Here is a look at some basic ingredients to keep on hand to maintain a healthy lifestyle. 

Jennifer Shukaitis, MPH is a faculty member in the Department of Family and Community Health Sciences at Rutgers Cooperative Extension. During her time there, she has implemented programs in nutrition and wellness to audiences ranging in age from pre-school to older adults. She has also partnered with FoodCorps, the NJ Department of Agriculture, and several schools and non-profits to implement farm-to-school programming throughout New Jersey.

Kids have lots of ways to build and rebuild their treehouse with 7 cans of reusable Play-Doh compound in colors like woody brown, light blue, purple, yellow, and more. Plus, two adorable little plastic figures and accessories like a slide and tire swing make it fun for kids to play pretend after their treehouse is finished

Teens & tweens in grades 5 & up can join us for a few rounds of the popular online game Among Us!  We will be using text chat only to discuss who is “sus” and who is not; who will be crew mates & who will be imposters?  Let’s play and find out!  There will be 9 spaces per session, and the special code to join will be emailed to participants before the tournament starts that day.  You can play on your computer using STEAM, or download the game for free on your phone.
