C2 Education is offering students in grades 8 – 12 the opportunity to take free PSAT, SAT, or ACT practice tests virtually. It is recommended that students in grades 8 – 10 take the PSAT, while students in grades 11 – 12 take the SAT or ACT.

Structure and buoyancy will be key to a successful boat design to keep from taking on water, yet strong enough to hold some weight! Limited supplies, which are not typical boat materials, will be key to the challenge of a good boat! This challenge will have two different variables tested out – the ability to float, and the ability to hold weight without sinking! Teens & tweens in grades 5 & up will be pick up science kits in advance. Then on Monday, May 3 participants will receive the link to a step-by-step instructional video, and will have the chance to follow along at their leisure!

Teens & tweens in grades 5 & up will learn to sew a nice earbud holder which they can keep, or give to Mom for Mother’s Day! Participants can pick up a special craft kit in advance of the workshop which has all of the specific project materials. On Wednesday, May 5 at 4:00pm they will then receive the link to a step-by-step instructional video, as well as a PDF instructional booklet, and will have the chance to follow along at their leisure!
