The Mahwah Public Library Board is composed of seven trustees who are appointed by the Mayor of the Township for 5-year terms and two ex-officio members – The Mayor and Superintendent of Schools.
The Board is responsible for setting overall policy and for overseeing the finances of the Library so the library can fulfill its mission of connecting everyone in the community with ideas, information, technology and each other to further lifelong learning, cultural and business opportunities.
