Public PCs
The Library has 26 computers for public use, including 12 in the Adult section, 8 in the Children room, and 8 in the Inbetween. All are equipped with Windows 11, Microsoft Office 2021 and Google Chrome for Internet access.
Patrons may use public computers only with their own library card from any BCCLS library. Guest passes are available for patrons without a BCCLS library card and are available at public service desks.
Computer sessions last 30 minutes, but time can be extended if no other patrons are waiting. Ask at the Information desk if you need a longer computer session. Anything saved to the hard drive of a library computer is erased at the end of your session, so please be sure to save your work to removable or cloud storage.
Library Staff are available to assist you with signing on to the public computers, accessing the Internet, and printing documents. Please note that while staff can provide basic assistance with general computer tasks, they cannot fill out online forms or navigate within websites for you.
Use of public computers is governed by the Library’s Computer & Internet Use Policy.
