The Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center is the birthplace and boyhood home of noted American artist Edward Hopper (1882–1967) from the time of his birth until he moved to Manhattan in 1910.
The house is now the Edward Hopper House Art Center, which features one gallery dedicated to Hopper’s life and work, and other galleries for changing exhibits. The center also offers workshops, lectures, jazz concerts, figure drawing and other classes.
Edward Hopper’s art has graced The White House, the Whitney Museum of American Art, The Met, the Art Institute of Chicago, and museums around the world. The Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center gives new understanding and depth to this iconic American artist by preserving his family home and boyhood memorabilia and illuminating his sources of inspiration in its collections, exhibitions, and programs.
